Hope Murera Named Deputy Chair of Insurance Development Forum Steering Committee

30 September 2026: The Insurance Development Forum (IDF) today announced the appointment of Hope Murera as Deputy Chair of its Steering Committee.

An existing Steering Committee member, Murera brings more than 30 years of insurance and reinsurance experience in Africa, and a strong record of advancing climate resilience and financial inclusion. She will serve in this role alongside her position as Managing Director & Group CEO of ZEP-RE (PTA Reinsurance Company).
