About Insurance Development Forum
The Insurance Development Forum is a public-private partnership that provides insurance-related resources and risk management capabilities to help developing nations build resilience against climate change and natural disasters. The organisation manages the Infrastructure Resilience Development Fund and coordinates tripartite projects to implement parametric insurance solutions for governments and smallholder farmers. Recent coverage has focused on leadership appointments and the rollout of financial protection programmes across Africa and Latin America.
