Insuresoft, a provider of core policy administration, billing and claims technology for the property and casualty insurance industry, has launched Diamond AI, a new suite of three AI capabilities built directly into its Diamond platform.

Diamond AI will be showcased at ITC Vegas 2026, taking place September 29 - October 1 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

The launch comes as insurers continue to look at how AI can move from experimentation into everyday use. Capgemini’s 2026 World Property and Casualty Insurance Report found that 60% of insurers remain at the exploration or proof-of-concept stage, while only 10% have successfully scaled AI enterprise-wide.

Brilliance, Insuresoft’s AI-powered implementation accelerator, is currently supporting live customer implementations. It uses AI to take source documents including filings, rates and rules and turn them into the configuration work required to bring products live on Diamond, increasing the speed of implementation and go-lives.

“There’s going to be a lot of talk about AI at ITC this year, but what makes this genuinely different is that Brilliance is already doing real implementation work with customers,” says Ronnie Moorehead, Associate Director of Software Development at Insuresoft.

“For us, that’s the important shift. We’re moving beyond AI as a pilot or proof of concept and using it to increase the speed of implementation and go-lives on work that has traditionally been done manually. That has the potential to fundamentally change how insurers approach implementation.”

Diamond AI includes three capabilities:

  • Diamond Chat - an internal AI assistant for underwriting, policy and claims teams, allowing users to quickly find information across policies, claims and risk data and highlighting areas that may need further review. It is currently designed for internal users, with AI-generated responses reviewed by trained professionals before anything reaches a customer.
  • Brilliance - an AI-powered implementation accelerator that ingests source documents, identifies inconsistencies, generates clarification questions and produces the configuration information Diamond needs. It is already being used on customer implementations.
  • Workflow Orchestrator - automation for repetitive, multi-step processes triggered by events within Diamond, with human review built into points where decisions or intervention are required.

Insuresoft has developed the suite with a focus on data privacy and keeping people involved in decisions where judgement is still required.

Diamond Chat’s internal-only approach and the human checkpoints built into Workflow Orchestrator are designed to give Insuresoft customers the benefits of automation without removing oversight from higher-risk decisions.

For insurance carriers and MGAs, the aim is to reduce some of the manual work involved in implementation, underwriting and claims, while helping teams access information and complete repetitive processes more quickly.

“AI in insurance is moving quickly, but we’re not approaching it as a blank slate. We’re applying more than three decades of experience implementing core systems to introduce AI in the areas where it delivers a clear, practical benefit for customers, with the right controls in place around how it’s used,” says Ronnie Moorehead, Associate Director of Software Development at Insuresoft.

“What we’re seeing with Brilliance gives us confidence that there’s a lot more we can do from here.”
