Chubb Appoints Insurance Veteran Alexis Obligi as Head of Personal Lines for EMEA

Chubb today announced the appointment of Alexis Obligi as Head of Personal Lines for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), effective October 5.

Alexis will be responsible for leading Chubb’s personal lines business across the region, including underwriting and client management, while strengthening the broker, client, and distribution partner relationships that underpin Chubb’s success. He will also have responsibility for Chubb's Personal Risk Services (PRS) business. Based in Paris, Alexis will report to Ana Robic, Regional President, EMEA and John Thompson, Division President, International Personal Lines.

Alexis brings more than 25 years of international insurance leadership experience to the role. He joins Chubb from Allianz Partners, where he most recently served as Global Head of Home and previously as Regional CEO for Western Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa. Before Allianz, he held senior positions at Henner, AIG, and GE across various international markets. Alexis is fluent in Greek, French, English, and Spanish.
