Raindrop Joins Guidewire Insurtech Vanguards to Transform Insurance Policy Intelligence
By Lauren Towner · 14 September 2026

Raindrop, an insurance interpretation platform, today announced that it has joined the Guidewire Insurtech Vanguards program, an insurtech incubator from Guidewire Software (NYSE: GWRE), the platform P&C insurers trust to engage, innovate, and grow efficiently.
Raindrop transforms insurance language into structured intelligence that people and AI can trust. Raindrop does not simply read policies, it creates the foundational knowledge graph for insurance.
"Insurance is built on language, yet policy wording is still largely trapped in static documents. Raindrop makes that language structured, connected, and verifiable, creating the trusted intelligence that insurers, brokers and AI systems need to work with policy information confidently. Joining the Guidewire Insurtech Vanguards program gives us an opportunity to collaborate more closely with the P&C community as it builds the next generation of insurance experiences," said Jasmin Flori-Hess, Founder and CEO of Raindrop.
Insurtech Vanguards is a community of selected startups and technology providers that are bringing novel solutions to the P&C industry. As part of the program, Guidewire provides strategic guidance to and advocates for the participating insurtechs, while connecting them with the Guidewire customer community.
"Raindrop brings an important capability to the insurance ecosystem by transforming complex policy wording into structured, traceable intelligence. Its ontology-led approach can help insurers and their partners establish a more dependable foundation for understanding policies and enabling AI-driven innovation. We are pleased to welcome Raindrop to the Guidewire Insurtech Vanguards program," said Laura Drabik, Chief Evangelist of Guidewire.
Raindrop’s proprietary Insurance Ontology maps policy wording into a consistent, interoperable model of insurance concepts and relationships. The platform structures coverage, exclusions, conditions, extensions, definitions, and claims information into navigable, source-grounded data, helping carriers, brokers and technology partners analyse, compare, and use policy information with greater clarity.
By creating a shared intelligence layer across policy documents, Raindrop helps the industry move beyond document storage toward trusted policy knowledge that can support product analysis, broker workflows, and carefully governed AI applications.
