The enhancements are designed to simplify the broker trading journey, broaden digital access to Financial Lines risks and support faster decision-making at quote stage.

The update forms part of Allianz’s wider digital trading strategy, focused on broadening the range of Financial Lines business brokers can place online while making the quote journey simpler and more efficient.

As part of this, Allianz has enhanced the way it enriches company data for Complete Directors & Officers customers, increasing match rates from 60% to 96%. This is already helping to deliver clearer insight, faster decisions and fewer referrals, contributing to a 15% increase in quote rate.

Allianz has also expanded product thresholds across Financial Lines, with Complete Directors & Officers available for businesses with turnover of up to £200 million and Complete Professional Indemnity available for businesses with a fee income of up to £10 million and turnover of up to £100 million.

Together, the changes give brokers more scope to place larger and more complex Financial Lines risks online through QuoteSME and imarket, including Professional Indemnity and Directors & Officers. They are designed to support brokers looking for fast, straightforward access to specialist cover, while maintaining the expertise and underwriting support they expect from Allianz.

For Professional Indemnity, Allianz provides flexible, sector-tailored cover for businesses that offer professional advice or expertise, helping protect customers against claims including negligence, breach of duty and confidentiality. The cover can be traded digitally as standalone protection or alongside other Complete products.

“This is another important step in making it easier for brokers to trade Financial Lines business with Allianz. We know brokers value speed, simplicity and access to underwriting expertise, and these enhancements are designed to support that.” said Eibhlin Swan, Director of Digital Trading at Allianz UK.

“Our enhanced thresholds significantly extend the range of risks brokers can trade online, while improved data enrichment is helping us make faster decisions at quote stage. Early results are encouraging, with improved match rates, fewer referrals and stronger quote rates across QuoteSME and imarket. This is about continuing to listen to brokers and investing in the areas that make a practical difference to their trading experience.” said Eibhlin Swan, Director of Digital Trading at Allianz UK.

Brokers can access the enhanced Financial Lines proposition now through QuoteSME and imarket.
