ADVAN and bolttech Launch ADP Protection for AIR NEO Laptop Customers in Indonesia
By Effie Foxtrot · 29 September 2026
In brief: ADVAN and bolttech have launched ADP Protection, 12 months of accidental and liquid damage cover for AIR NEO laptops, brokered by PT Bolttech Insurance Broker and underwritten by PT Sompo Insurance Indonesia.

Indonesian technology brand ADVAN has partnered with bolttech to offer accidental damage protection on its new AIR NEO laptop, the first advanced device protection plan ADVAN has sold. The cover is embedded at the point of purchase and is due to expand to more ADVAN laptop models.
What was announced
The ADP Protection plan covers AIR NEO laptops against accidental and liquid damage for 12 months. It launches first through selected online marketplaces, with ADVAN's own sales channels and retail partners to follow.
bolttech Indonesia, through PT Bolttech Insurance Broker, acts as broker, and PT Sompo Insurance Indonesia is the insurer. ADVAN CEO Chandra Tansri framed the launch as a way to improve the customer experience and give buyers more confidence in their devices, while bolttech's Andrew Cons positioned it as part of the company's embedded protection work around device ownership.
Context
Indonesia is one of bolttech's most active markets. The group has built its local business through the Axle Asia acquisition, now rebranded as bolttech, and partnerships with Erajaya Digital, iBox and Harmony Auto.
Why it matters
Device protection is the original engine of bolttech's business, and OEM partnerships are the cleanest way to sell it, because the cover is offered at the moment the customer is most aware of the risk. Signing a local laptop brand rather than only global handset makers widens the addressable base in a market where consumer electronics penetration is still growing fast.
