Duck Creek Expands Leadership Team to Accelerate Agentic Underwriting and EMEA Growth
By Lauren Towner · 8 October 2026

Duck Creek Technologies has appointed Andy Moss as General Manager of Underwriting and Lloyd Peters as Vice President & General Manager, EMEA. These leadership changes follow the acquisition of Send Technology Solutions Ltd, signaling a major push into agentic underwriting and a consolidation of commercial operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
What was announced
Duck Creek has integrated the leadership of Send Technology Solutions Ltd into its global executive structure following the July 2026 acquisition of the AI-native underwriting orchestration platform. Andy Moss, the co-founder and former Chief Executive Officer of Send, has been named General Manager of Underwriting. Reporting directly to Duck Creek CEO Hardeep Gulati, Moss is tasked with leading the company’s global underwriting business. His remit includes the continued oversight of Send’s product, technology, and customer operations, with a specific focus on the Agentic Underwriting Workbench strategy. This initiative aims to help insurers in the commercial, specialty, reinsurance, MGA, delegated authority, and London Market segments utilize AI and decision intelligence to improve performance.
Simultaneously, Lloyd Peters has been appointed Vice President & General Manager, EMEA, reporting to Chief Sales Officer William Magowan. Peters, who previously served as Head of Revenue at Send, will now lead Duck Creek’s entire EMEA business. This role involves merging the commercial teams of both entities, as Peters takes responsibility for Duck Creek’s sales organization across the region while maintaining leadership over Send’s UK sales team. The move is designed to create a unified regional leadership structure to drive growth across diverse market segments. Both Moss and Peters bring extensive experience to their roles; Moss previously served as CTO for DXC Technology’s London Insurance Market division, while Peters spent over a decade at Deloitte advising on business transformation.
"The acquisition of Send created a powerful foundation for Duck Creek to help insurers transform underwriting from a collection of disconnected processes into a more intelligent, orchestrated experience. I’m excited to take on this broader role and continue building on the work we started at Send. Together with the team at Duck Creek, we have an opportunity to help insurers make faster, more informed decisions while giving underwriters the technology, data, and intelligence they need to manage increasingly complex risks."

The companies involved
Duck Creek Technologies functions as a core system provider for the property and casualty (P&C) insurance industry. The company provides a suite of SaaS-based products designed to manage the entire insurance lifecycle, from policy administration and billing to claims and insights. Duck Creek has established itself as a dominant force in the market, recently recognized as a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for SaaS P&C Insurance Core Platforms. Its architecture is designed to support the transition of traditional insurance processes into digital-first environments.
Send Technology Solutions Ltd, now a part of Duck Creek, was founded as an AI-native underwriting orchestration platform. Before its acquisition in July 2026, Send focused on providing a single, centralized workbench for underwriters, aiming to eliminate the manual data entry and fragmented workflows that often plague the specialty and commercial insurance sectors. By integrating Send’s technology, Duck Creek has added sophisticated AI-driven orchestration capabilities to its core offering, specifically targeting the complexities of the London and specialty markets where Send had already established a significant footprint.
What FF News has reported before
FF News has closely followed Duck Creek’s evolution throughout 2026, a year marked by significant technological shifts and financial milestones. In September, we reported that Duck Creek Technologies Hits Record Bookings in FY26 as Insurers Pivot to Agentic AI, highlighting a surge in demand for automated intelligence. This momentum was further evidenced when Duck Creek Technologies Named Leader in 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for SaaS P&C Insurance Core Platforms, solidifying its market position against legacy competitors. Most recently, the company signaled its future product direction when it was announced that Duck Creek to Unveil Industry-First Agentic Underwriting Platform at ITC Vegas 2026, a move that directly aligns with the new leadership appointments of Moss and Peters.
What this means
The appointment of Send’s former leadership to top-tier roles within Duck Creek suggests that the "agentic" shift in insurance is no longer a peripheral experiment but a core business strategy. By placing the architects of an AI-native workbench at the helm of its global underwriting and EMEA divisions, Duck Creek is challenging the traditional boundaries between core systems and specialized underwriting tools. This move puts significant pressure on legacy core providers who lack native AI orchestration capabilities. The industry is clearly moving toward a model where the "core" must do more than just record data; it must actively orchestrate it. The focus on the London Market and specialty segments indicates where the most immediate gains in efficiency—and the fiercest competition—will likely occur.
