AXA Joins Hong Kong's Cross-Sector GenA.I. Sandbox++ to Test Responsible AI Governance

AXA Hong Kong and Macau ("AXA") has been selected among the first batch of participants in the GenA.I. Sandbox++, a cross-sector regulatory initiative jointly launched by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the Securities and Futures Commission, the Insurance Authority, and the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority—in collaboration with Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited (Cyberport) to foster responsible A.I. adoption across financial services.
Through GenA.I. Sandbox++, AXA will leverage Cyberport's AI Supercomputing Centre to develop and test a dedicated use case focused on AI Governance, Cyber Resilience, and Risk Mitigation. In alignment with the core pillars of the GenA.I. Sandbox++, AXA will explore high-level capabilities in a risk-controlled environment, focusing on:
- Strengthening Enterprise Risk Mitigation & AI Governance: Strengthening trust in AI through robust governance, stringent data protection and proactive cyber-risk controls that support responsible innovation and enterprise resilience.
- Enhancing Customer Trust & Confidence: Enhancing customer and distributor confidence by supporting safer, more reliable and responsible use of AI across insurance services.
