Ty J. Young Wealth Management, a wealth management firm specialising in retirement income strategies, has announced the acquisition of Senior Insurance Services, an insurance firm led by Eric Rudd in Washington, Missouri. Financial terms were not disclosed.

As Rudd transitioned out of the insurance industry, ensuring his clients continued to receive personalised attention was a key priority. He selected Ty J. Young Wealth Management to provide continuity of service while giving clients access to the firm's broader wealth management resources and retirement planning expertise.

Ty Young, chief executive of Ty J. Young Wealth Management, said the firm is grateful for the opportunity to carry forward the relationships Rudd has built, that as an annuity book of business buyer its goal is to keep clients cared for, and that it acquires annuity books with a commitment to making each transition personal and seamless.

The acquisition is part of continued expansion through partnerships with retiring insurance and annuity professionals. For advisors considering exiting the annuity business, the firm offers a route into retirement or another business while prioritising care for existing clients, addressing the question facing retiring producers of who will service their annuity clients.

The firm was founded by Ty J. Young in 1998, manages more than 1 billion dollars in assets and serves approximately 10,000 clients nationwide.
