DA Strategy Appoints Former Police Inspector Rachel Kelly to Lead Operations

DA Strategy has appointed Rachel Kelly as Manager. She brings more than a decade of policing experience, including leadership roles with Kent Police in which she managed complex operations, assessed risk and worked with multiple agencies.

Most recently, Rachel served as a Detective Sergeant and Acting Detective Inspector in Kent Police’s custody operations. Her work involved overseeing high-risk situations, making time-critical decisions as circumstances changed, and communicating those decisions to senior leaders and frontline teams. She previously supervised complex domestic abuse investigations and worked with partner agencies to support victims and witnesses.

Rachel will initially focus on DA Strategy’s operations, drawing on her experience in team leadership, stakeholder coordination and accountable decision-making. She will develop her knowledge of delegated authority insurance before moving into client-facing work.
