Artificial, a provider of digital broking and underwriting technology for the specialty and commercial insurance markets, today unveiled a new brand identity that reflects the company’s growth and expanding role in the insurance market. The launch follows a year of significant growth for Artificial, including a $45 million Series B fundraise, expansion into the U.S. and German markets and recognition on the CB Insights 2026 Insurtech 50 list.

At the centre of the new identity is The Power Between, a statement of where Artificial sits in the market: connecting the people, systems and capacity that make specialty insurance work.

That positioning is grounded in Artificial’s belief that technology should support, not replace, the relationships, expertise and underwriting discipline at the heart of specialty insurance. Its role is to remove the operational friction around them that can slow underwriting and placement.

“What we're hearing from clients is that they don't need more technology for technology's sake. They want a long-term partner to help them solve the operational challenges getting in the way of growth,” said Johnny Bridges, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Artificial Labs. “Our role has grown with that demand, helping brokers and underwriters work together more efficiently and put capacity to work in new ways. The Power Between reflects what Artificial has become and where we're going next.”

The new identity follows a period of rapid expansion for Artificial as its role has grown across underwriting and placement workflows in the London, Europe and US markets. The rebrand is designed to bring the way Artificial presents itself in line with that evolution and more clearly articulate the role it plays in the market.

"The way we talked about ourselves hadn't kept pace with what the business actually does," said Anna Hawkins, Head of Marketing at Artificial. “The Power Between gives us a much clearer way to tell our story and puts the focus where it belongs: on the connections between people, technology and capacity that make the market work.”

Artificial is an insurance technology company building the infrastructure that connects specialty markets worldwide. Its platform is live across a growing number of underwriting and placement workflows, enabling insurers, brokers and coverholders to deploy capacity at speed without giving up control or visibility. Artificial is headquartered in London, with offices in New York and Cologne.
