Cloverleaf Analytics Debuts AI-Native Autonomous Analytics to Transform P&C Insurance Intelligence
By Lauren Towner · 29 September 2026

Cloverleaf Analytics, a leading provider of advanced analytics for property and casualty (P&C) insurers and MGAs, today introduced Autonomous Analytics, an AI-native platform that makes monitoring and investigating changes in the business as easy as asking questions in plain English. The solution is built with AI at the foundation of the analytics experience rather than a generic AI capability added onto an existing BI tool. Using a customer’s approved business definitions, calculations, and key performance indicators to establish a governed metrics foundation, Cloverleaf monitors business performance, detects meaningful changes, investigates likely root causes, and brings timely answers to users before they know which questions to ask.
Unlike conventional analytics platforms that begin with a manually created query, dashboard, or report, Cloverleaf automatically evaluates changes in growth, risk, profitability, and customer experience metrics. When it identifies a significant shift, the platform alerts the appropriate users, investigates likely contributing factors, and presents traceable evidence through a conversational interface.
"Insurers need analytics that understand their business and flags the changes worth investigating," said Robert Clark, Founder and CEO of Cloverleaf Analytics. "Since AI is built throughout the platform rather than added as an afterthought, users can move directly from a proactive alert to the likely drivers, supporting evidence, and their next question. Every answer shows whether it's based on a metric the customer has certified, giving the organization a consistent source of truth while keeping its experts in control of what happens next."
Cloverleaf’s new platform delivers the power of large-scale language models within a private, secure, and insurance-specific environment.
"When we went live with Cloverleaf in August 2025, we transformed a legacy reporting process that took days into one that takes hours, improving the value we receive from our data across 11 lines of business," said Eric Rhoades, Senior Vice President and CISO of Information Services at Co-operative Insurance Companies. "The new Autonomous Analytics platform is a game-changer, enabling our users to investigate that data on-demand through an easy-to-use conversational interface with the governance and security our business requires. Its certified metrics give every user a consistent intelligence foundation, allowing people to examine the same issue from different perspectives and reach the same trusted answer."
The platform’s conversational AI interface empowers teams in underwriting, claims, finance, and operations to investigate their business using everyday insurance language. Key benefits include proactive performance monitoring, conversational investigations, and traceable evidence that allows experts to verify findings and maintain full control over operational decisions.
Autonomous Analytics is designed to build on existing Cloverleaf data models, so current customers can adopt it without starting over and move at their own pace. The platform is currently in beta with general availability planned for Q4 2026.
