BHSI Appoints Katharina Rütz as Head of Executive & Professional Lines in Germany

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) today announced the promotion of Katharina Rütz to Head of Executive & Professional Lines in Germany.
“Kathi has been instrumental in the growth of our Executive & Professional Lines business in Germany,” said Andreas Krause, Head of DACH, BHSI. “Her leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to customers and brokers make her well suited to lead our team forward.”
Kathi joined BHSI in 2021 and has more than 13 years of experience in the German insurance market. She was previously Head of Commercial Lines E&P in Germany and Senior Underwriter, Directors & Officers, in Germany. She will continue to be based in Cologne and work with Dr. Carsten Keune, Head of Executive & Professional Lines, DACH, BHSI.
In Germany, BHSI offers Executive & Professional Lines solutions including Directors & Officers Liability, financial institutions, financial market transaction, and multinational insurance program solutions.
