Arch Insurance International Appoints Gaurav Sharma as Chief Information Officer to Drive Tech Modernisation

Arch Insurance International (Arch) today announced the appointment of Gaurav Sharma as Chief Information Officer, effective immediately.

In the role, Sharma leads the execution of Arch’s technology modernisation agenda, ensuring tangible outcomes that support the overall business strategy and growth ambitions. Based in London, he reports to Ketan Motwani, Chief Operating Officer.

Sharma brings more than 25 years of experience in leading technology functions and large-scale transformation. Prior to joining Arch, he was Head of Technology at AXA Health and has previously held senior technology roles at RSA Insurance UK, Zurich Insurance and Aspen Re.

Commenting on the appointment, Motwani said: “Sharma brings extensive experience across architecture, technology delivery and service management, making him ideally placed to lead the next phase of our technology strategy. He will play a central role in delivering modernisation of our infrastructure that’s critical to support sustainable growth, underwriting excellence, technology resilience and an outstanding customer experience.”
