Afreximbank and ZEP-RE have signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen professional and institutional capacity across trade, insurance, reinsurance, risk management, and trade facilitation in Africa.
The partnership brings together Afreximbank Academy (AFRACAD) and ZEP-RE Academy to develop digital learning content, executive and professional development programmes, and joint research and thought leadership aimed at strengthening Africa’s trade and investment ecosystem.
The agreement was signed in Nairobi by Mr. Jephita Gwatipedza, Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of ZEP-RE (PTA Reinsurance Company), and Mr. Stephen Kauma, Group Managing Director, Human Resources at Afreximbank.
