Brokers Alliance Launches MyAdvisorData to Connect Agency AI Assistants with Real-Time Insurance Records
By Lauren Towner · 26 October 2026

Brokers Alliance has launched MyAdvisorData, a read-only data interface designed to allow insurance agencies to query their book of business using their own AI assistants. For brokers and agency principals, this removes the friction of manual reporting by providing instant, verifiable answers on case status and licensing directly from the marketing organization’s records.
What was announced
The new platform, MyAdvisorData, functions as a secure window into an agency's specific book of business held at Brokers Alliance. It is designed to be compatible with the AI assistants that agencies already utilize in their daily operations. By connecting their existing assistant to the platform, an agency principal can use natural language to inquire about the status of specific cases, identify open requirements, track the progress of contracting packets, or view the current producer hierarchy. Every response generated by the system is drawn directly from Brokers Alliance’s internal records and includes a timestamp indicating when the data was last verified.
In addition to AI integration, the data is accessible via a dedicated web interface at app.myadvisordata.ai. Access to this portal requires a named user login and two-factor authentication. To maintain data integrity and security, the system is strictly read-only, ensuring that queries made by an agency cannot alter any records within the Brokers Alliance ecosystem. The platform draws from several core business systems, including those managing contracting, hierarchies, and carrier appointments or licenses. While case status is broadly visible to authorized users, sensitive information such as commission levels is restricted. Commission data is only visible to the agency principal for their own producers and only if the principal has specifically requested that view be enabled.
The technical architecture includes a compliance wall and separate databases for books and access switches, both featuring point-in-time recovery. The system is built with a "fail closed" logic; for example, if a principal has retired or a data signature cannot be verified, the system will provide a closed answer rather than attempting to estimate data. MyAdvisorData went live with its first partner agency in October and is available at no cost to agencies contracting through Brokers Alliance.
The companies involved
Brokers Alliance, Inc. is a family-owned life and annuity marketing organization that has operated in the insurance distribution sector since its founding in 1982. As an Independent Marketing Organization (IMO), the company serves as a critical intermediary between insurance carriers and independent agencies, providing the back-office infrastructure necessary for life insurance sales, including licensing, case management, and commission processing. The firm’s role in the market is defined by its management of complex agent hierarchies and the administrative requirements of multiple carrier appointments across various jurisdictions.
David Racich, who serves as the owner and CEO of Brokers Alliance, also holds the position of CEO at InstaBrain. This dual leadership reflects a focus on integrating advanced technology into the traditional insurance distribution model. Brokers Alliance occupies a position in the market where it must balance the legacy requirements of life insurance underwriting with the increasing demand from modern agencies for real-time data access. By acting as a central repository for producer and policy data, the organization provides the essential connectivity that allows independent brokers to maintain compliance and track their revenue streams across diverse product lines.
What this means from an insurtech perspective
This announcement signals a shift in the power dynamic between distributors and agencies, moving from "push" reporting to "pull" data access. By enabling "bring your own AI" (BYOAI) functionality, Brokers Alliance is addressing a major friction point in the life and annuity value chain: the administrative lag in case management. This move puts pressure on traditional IMAs and MGAs that still rely on manual weekly reports, as agencies increasingly demand real-time transparency to manage their cash flow and customer expectations. From an underwriting and operations standpoint, providing a read-only, AI-ready layer over legacy records is a pragmatic way to modernize without the risk of a full core-system overhaul, potentially improving trust between brokers and their marketing organizations.
