The International Underwriting Association (IUA) has launched a new brand identity, marking a significant milestone in its evolution and reinforcing its commitment to supporting London insurance and reinsurance companies.

Introducing a new visual identity and messaging framework, the rebrand is a modern reflection of the organisation’s role in helping its members solve complex challenges, turning collaboration into action. Following extensive consultation with staff and the IUA’s governing Board, it will be deployed across all IUA communications, publications, digital platforms and member engagement activities.

Chris Jones, Chief Executive of the IUA, said: “This new brand represents more than a visual change. It reflects the continued evolution of the IUA and highlights the industry leadership our members provide with clarity and confidence.”

“The refreshed identity better communicates our values and the benefits we provide to member firms. It helps showcase how we bring together the London company market’s collective expertise to deliver purposeful progress and secure an optimal trading environment.” said Chris Jones, Chief Executive of the IUA.

The IUA’s previous brand had been in place since the organisation was established in 1999. Changing communication channels and the growing importance of digital engagement provided an opportunity to create an identity better suited to the needs of today's market.

Since the appointment of Chris Jones as its new Chief Executive last year, the IUA has also revisited its strategic objectives, showcasing the importance of claims services and launching an IUA Futures programme to help train and develop new talent.

The rebrand, therefore, forms part of a broader programme to strengthen the IUA's engagement with members, market stakeholders, policymakers and international audiences.
